Evil vs. Truth

I read a warning that George W. Bush made yesterday a.m. and I feel compelled to comment on it. He warned "History teaches us that underestimating the words of evil, ambitious men is a terrible mistake." Does he not realize that he's describing several members of his own presidential term? Dick Cheney and Halliburton/Blackwater. Alberto Gonzales and Abu Ghraib. Kenneth Lay and Enron. The Bush family's rein of OIL. So then, if the U.S. administration is comprised of evil and ambitious men, and the Iraq administration is comprised of evil and ambitious men, what is not evil? I'll tell you what is not evil; TRUTH is not evil. In fact, truth is freedom. Truth cannot be obtained with killing. Killing on it's own is the most violent form of a lie and a lie is the opposite of truth. War = killing so war is also the opposite of truth. I'll tell you what is evil and that is to LIE.. Lieing is evil. And truth is freedom. Truth = Freedom. Free the world with Truth and end the occupation of all other countries not our/your own. It is theirs so do not TAKE it. Taking it is stealing it. Yes stealing is lieing. Stealing is evil. Stealing is lieing. Ownership cannot be forced to change hands. Doing so is stealing and stealing is a lie. Lieing is oppression. Truth is the only Freedom. My father said "You must fight until you die. But you won't win." He was speaking of the fight between good and evil. Evil usually wins. But still we must fight and win the battle within our own heart and soul and that freedom evil cannot take. God bless you, dad. I am your daughter.

Roots Fest 2007

2nd annual in Joshua Tree. Ahhhh, Heaven on earth. Saturday was perfect but Sat. night the temps plummeted, the wind roared, and the tent-dwellers suffered. Doug and I stayed warm and snug in our trailer as we watched Transformers. Sunday on the drive home we saw smoke in the distance as the So. Calif. fires began. Last week two instructors were out due to evacuations in Ramona and Fallbrook. This week they are back, their homes saved. Hallelujah. We squeaked by again, unscathed by the flames. Thanks be to God.
